    The first Navy F-35C successfully launched via a ground-based steam catapult. Testing of the Navy’s new Joint Strike Fighter is being conducted from their Lakehurst, NJ Naval facility.

    Must watch video of the day.

    We’ve all seen the video of the FMA IA-63 trainer jet that flew nearly one meter from the ground earlier this week.

    Now, here’s the pilot’s view from the cockpit. Pay close attention to the HUD altimeter readings at 3–o’clock and the 5.1 max G pullout. Holy fuck.
