Ayrton Senna’s 1991 McLaren MP4/6 Formula One racer will by put up for auction by international car auctioneers, COYS at their Nurburgring sale on August 13th.

Senna’s final championship-winning car was converted to this giant ‘Airfix’ model kit by student artist Jay Burridge in 1992. Its said that Senna was huge fan of scale models and often flew his own model helicopter at the track.
It’s estimated Burridge’s Senna MP4/6 sculpture will sell anywhere between $50–60,000 USD.
